Wayne Notise, known professionally as Lord Have Mercy, is an American rapper from Brooklyn, New York. He began his career in 1990 as a member of the group B.A.S.S. and released one single in 1990. Lord Have Mercy was affiliated with Busta Rhymes during the 1990s and a member of his collective Flipmode Squad. His affiliation with Busta Rhymes earned him a record deal with Elektra Records and released the singles "Wicked Ways" and "Say What Say What" in 1998. He recorded the album Thee Ungodly Hour while on the label but it was shelved when Lord Have Mercy left the Flipmode Squad.
