The burden of the oppressed to fashion beauty from the void.
Repair the Darkness
Shadows whisper
Like a ghost in the window, pale
Silent screams
Sink like a weighted scale
I'm a silhouette. A darkened dream
Made to hide from the light
In the darkness, a reminder of loss
Each flickering life
In the night's cold haze
Fragments of a world undone
Nostalgic for better days
Back when we loved the sun
Come from the light
But doomed to repair the darkness
Bringer of life
But made to suffer the heartless
Silence deafening
From the savior on the way
Cry in vain
Felt but we still won’t say
It’s a battle lost, a war long waged
From the grave it’ll rise
It's a plague, in the cloth of a land
Satiated with lies
In the morning haze
Ashes from the dream are smokin’
The phoenix receives the blame
But the flame is the one that was broken
Come from the light
But doomed to repair the darkness
Bringer of life
But made to suffer the heartless
